KEEP IT IN THE FRIDGE

Keep your refrigerator as full as possible. A full refrigerator retains cold better than an empty one and reduces your refrigerator's energy use. If your fridge is near empty, store water-filled containers in it to maintain maximum efficiency - the mass of cold items will help your fridge recover more quickly after the door has been opened. Try to keep refrigerator doors open no longer than necessary - know what you want to get out before you open the door and you can quickly save significant energy costs. However, it is important to note that it is better and more economical to keep the door open for longer periods of time than opening and closing it several times.
