Professor for City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley

Cervero teaches and conducts research in the area of sustainable transportation policy and planning, both in the U.S. and abroad. He was the first-ever recipient of the Dale Prize for Excellence in Urban Planning Research, chairs the Board of the International Association on Urban Environments, is a Fellow with the World Bank Institute, and advises internationally on sustainable transportation planning.
