Despite the disappointing outcome of COP15 and the lingering effects of the global recession, the world continues to move toward a low-carbon future. Driven by the urgency of mitigating the effects of global warming and the equally urgent need for robust economic recovery, leaders in policy, business, and technology see the emerging green-tech economy as the greatest opportunity of this century, with expected growth of over $2 trillion annually by the next decade.
