Here is what went down at Debbie Durkin's Pre-MTV Movie Awards Eco Lounge on June 3rd & 4th at one of the most fun gifting suites of the year in Hancock Park!
During Debbie Durkin's Pre-MTV Movie Awards Eco Lounge celebs were given all sorts of fun gifts such as, eco-friendly vendors like R.E.U.S.E. Jeans, made from denim scraps spun down to natural state and mixed with new cotton, and Mink vegan shoes, fashioned from organic, sustainable and renewable materials like recycled paper, vintage fabric and organic cotton velvet. And Athena's, which sells lotions, potions and bedroom toys, is collecting bras in its attempt to break the record for the longest bra chain to raise funds for breast cancer awareness. Celebs like Steve-O, Sonny With A Chance star Brandon Smith , Judi Shekoni, and Tracey Heggins (Amazon Vampire sisters-Twilight-Breaking Dawn ) sunk their Twilight teeth into delectable cupcakes by Socially Sweet Events. "This is like a party in my mouth and everyone's invited!" said Brad Sherwood from Whose Line is it Anyway? Band members from Action Item, who open for Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez, had a blast kicking it while sipping Peace Iced Tea. Young Disney stars and tweens alike went crazy when Desperate Housewives Kathryn Joosten showed up. Arielle Kebbel "Vampire Diaries" lent support for her singer-songwriter-friend, Ryan Boone.
Event Producer Debbie Durkin screened her CBS-LA TV Show 'Eco Hollywood' that aired Sunday 5/29, on CBS-LA in the lovely pool house of the pivate estate. It's a TV News Magazine show featuring celebrities Ed Begley, Jr., narration by Jeremy Irons, American Idol's Tim Urban, Ken Davitian (Borat), Vik Sahay (Chuck), Jordan Belfi (Entourage), Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers), Catherine Oxenberg, Kate Linder ( The Young and the Restless), Peter Reckell ( Days of Our Lives), breakout singer/songwriters Ryan Boone & Jenni Alpert offering "green" tips and companies going green. Directed by Brent Roske it was shot at Debbie's "Eco Hollywood Earth Day" April 22nd at the GOLD LEED certified Montage of Beverly Hills.
Other VIP's like Caitlin Crosby (MTV's Hard Times of RJ Berger), Camile Winbush (Secret Life of an American Teenager), Tony Denison (The Closer), Roshon Fegan (Disney's Shake It Up), Bad Teacher's Noah Dahl, Stephen Kramer Glickman (Big Time Rush), Baxter's Evan Williams, Jarrod & Brandi Schulz (Storage Wars), enjoyed being escorted around the chic event by Debbie's Model Celebrity Ambassadors®.
